Jude Watson's sequel series to Jedi Apprentice is eleven books long, telling the tales of Obi-Wan's budding relationship with a young Anakin Skywalker. The series focuses on Obi-Wan's struggle to be a comparable master to Qui-Gon Jinn, while Anakin struggles to relate to his fellow Jedi Padawans without allowing rivalry and jealousy to eclipse his training. Following up on many plot points and character threads begun in Jedi Apprentice, the Jedi Quest books don't shy away from complex plotlines or darker character developments. While many books are individual self-contained story arcs, the series has longer threads with an over-arching villain, Jedi-hating Granta Omega.
