HIS RECAP CONTAINS THE BAD BATCH SPOILERS.

The members of The Bad Batch are still on the run - and doing their best to figure out how to travel across the galaxy with a kid on their ship. They may still be down a man, but Omega seems to be doing just fine as one of the boys.

Over the next few months, we’ll follow up each new episode of The Bad Batch with a quick recap while you’re excitedly yelling in our Discord (don’t forget those spoiler tags!) and waiting for our weekly Bounty Hunt live stream.

While we’ll stick to recapping each episode here, both our Discord and Bounty Hunt will be perfect places to discuss reactions and predictions for what’s to come. THERE WILL BE SPOILERS BELOW.

Here we go.

--

After sustaining damage fleeing from the Empire, the Batch’s ship pulls itself out of hyperspace and crash-lands on a mysterious moon. Uncle Wrecker is still getting used to having a child on board. Don’t worry - the gonk droid is fine.

Back on Kamino, Crosshair (referred to now only by his number) has been assigned command of an elite group of troopers. Instead of using a clone army exclusively, the Empire plans to use highly skilled clones to train top-notch soldiers from across the galaxy.

What could possibly go wrong?

Enter … moon dragons? Sure. They feed off energy, which is why there’s now a ship part missing and a handful of enhanced clones looking for it. Confronting the dragon doesn’t seem like a great idea, though.

With Hunter unconscious, Omega sets off on her own to confront the dragon and get the ship part back. She may not have the enhanced abilities he has, but she does manage to trick the creature into letting the part go in exchange for a very tasty flashlight.

Tarkin wants Crosshair and the new recruits to head to Onderon and finish what Clone Force 99 couldn’t. Saw Garerra’s camp won’t remain hidden again for long. The squad attacks the camp, but Garerra isn’t there to defend them.

Empire = bad. But you already knew that.

One of the recruits refuses to carry out Crosshair’s order to execute the civilians in the camp. Crosshair takes him out before giving the order again. The remaining recruits obey.

Good soldiers follow orders.

No matter the cost.

Even though Crosshair isn’t in control of his actions, he hasn’t forgotten his brothers. We’ll just have to see what he thinks about the Kaminoans’ desperation to get one of the Batch back to the facility for more cloning.

Again … what could possibly go wrong?
