HIS RECAP CONTAINS THE BAD BATCH SPOILERS.

The Bad Batch has just learned that their ship’s key signature is being tracked, which means they’re in danger of being pursued by the Empire … and other potential threats they don’t even know about yet. Omega just wants to explore the galaxy. But first: Food.

Over the next few months, we’ll follow up each new episode of The Bad Batch with a quick recap while you’re excitedly yelling in our Discord (don’t forget those spoiler tags!) and waiting for our weekly Bounty Hunt live stream.

While we’ll stick to recapping each episode here, both our Discord and Bounty Hunt will be perfect places to discuss reactions and predictions for what’s to come. THERE WILL BE SPOILERS BELOW.

Ready! Set! Recap.

Low on fuel and out of rations - and in desperate need of a place to hide - the Bad Batch land on Pantora in search of supplies. Omega’s curious mind sees even a quick stop for food and fuel as an adventure. Uncle Wrecker is, per usual, hungry. Same.

If the name Pantora seems familiar, it’s because it’s been mentioned in passing in The Clone Wars and a handful of books already. This is not the first time we’ve seen it on screen, but it seems to keep coming back into the spotlight. Curious.

Chain codes are still being assigned to civilians across the galaxy. Echo has to pretend to be a droid so Hunter can get the credits the team needs for supplies. Omega wanders off and becomes a target of … FENNEC SHAND! Our girl has ARRIVED.

Lost and confused, Omega warms up to Fennec without question and makes the mistake of promising to lead her back to the Batch. One showdown between Fennec and Hunter leaves both Omega and Fennec on the run. Echo recruits the droids from the shop to help fix the ship in time to make a quick getaway.

It was only a matter of time before someone ended up in an underground tunnel, which is where Omega flees to hide from Fennec and other potential pursuers. Wrecker to the rescue! It's his turn to (attempt to) face off with Fennec, because nobody messes with Omega. NOBODY.

Cue the Attack of the Clones-style chase scene through the skylanes of Pantora. Complete with explosions, blaster fire, and Hunter just barely saving Omega’s life. Again.

Fennec’s speeder goes down, but not before she jumps off to safety … and totally sticks the landing. Because of course she does. She’s Fennec Shand.

By the time Hunter and Omega make it back to the ship, Echo and the droids have put it back together seemingly without incident.

Omega learns she is the target of a bounty hunter -- and Hunter is determined to figure out who she is and who hired her to pursue them.

It looks like we haven’t seen the last of Fennec Shand.

Good.
