HIS RECAP CONTAINS THE BAD BATCH SPOILERS.

The final episode of Season 1 of The Bad Batch has arrived. The Empire continues to fire on Kamino with the group trapped inside with no intention of leaving survivors behind.

Over the past few months, we’ve followed up each new episode of The Bad Batch with a quick recap while you’ve excitedly yelled in our Discord (using those sweet, seet spoiler tags!) and waited for our weekly Bounty Hunt live stream.

While we’ll stick to recapping the final episode here, both our Discord and Bounty Hunt will be perfect places to discuss reactions and predictions for what’s to come in Season 2 and beyond. THERE WILL BE SPOILERS BELOW.

The end has come … for now. Here’s your recap.

--

Every city on Kamino has been destroyed.

While the Empire immediately retreats the scene of mass destruction, Omega, AZ, and the rest of the Bad Batch are left to fend for themselves as the portion of the cloning facility they remain within sinks further into the ocean.

Omega saves Crosshair from drowning, and the group retreats into the underwater tunnels in an attempt to get back to their ship (and Gonky?). Crosshair and his brothers are already butting heads, with the former still convinced he’s on the right side of conflict and his former accomplices are to blame for everything that’s happened.

Left with no other choice, the team tasks AZ with guiding the Batch - encased inside medical capsules - back to the surface of the ocean so they can escape. On the way up, Omega’s capsule gets stuck, and AZ uses the rest of his battery power to save her.

Not one to easily let go, Omega risks her life to save AZ. As both droid and clone threaten to sink back down to the ocean floor, Crosshair saves them both even though he disagrees with the choices the group as a whole has made.

There’s still good in him. He’s still their brother.

Omega, AZ and the Batch board their ship and give Crosshair the choice to stay with them or return to the Empire. He remains on the platform alone as the ship leaves Kamino behind for good.

In the season finale’s final moments, Nala Se arrives on another Empire-controlled planet awaiting her new orders. Kamino may be gone, but cloning experimentation, it seems, has only just begun.
