Myths & Fables is perhaps the most pleasantly unexpected book to come out of the Disney era of Star Wars. A collection of short stories that feature both well-known and brand new characters, each offers a quick, fun adventure told in the vein of classic folk tales. The artwork associated with each story is absolutely fantastic. Overall, this is a must-read for children, adults, and everyone in between.

Don’t let the size of the print fool you. Although Myths & Fables adopts a storybook format that’s usually found in kids books, the stories told within these pages are for every type of fan no matter their age. Each story tells a grand adventure that is fantastic on its own or enhances existing media like shows or films. Overall, my favorite part of this book is the beautiful artwork that accompanies each tale. Whether it be the lore or illustrations, Star Wars Myths and Fables is a must-have addition to any collection. At the very least, it makes for a great coffee table book!
