Following the success of Twilight of the Republic, Star Wars: Unlimited has unveiled the upcoming fourth set of the game: Jump to Lightspeed!
What’s new:
- Introducing Spotlight Decks, pre-built decks that contain a mixture of cards from multiple sets, with cards from the new set making up the majority of the deck
- Spotlight Decks replace the previously available 2-Player Starter Packs but still include 5 exclusive Special-rarity cards including one leader
- Leaders of the new decks will be Boba Fett and Han Solo
- Set four will also introduce Carbonite Packs which will contain the same amount of cards as a normal booster, but every single card will feature some sort of aesthetic treatment
- Carbonite Packs will be limited and will not be reprinted once they sell out
Deep dive:
- Jump to Lightspeed will focus on starfighters, transports, and capital ships - a sharp contrast to ground-heavy sets from earlier this year
- Set will introduce a new keyword, Piloting, as well as indirect damage
- Leaders and other units may be deployed as a Pilot upgrade using the new keyword
Over 250 new cards will be coming your way with Jump to Lightspeed when it releases everywhere in March of 2025.
